EndNote

What is EndNote?

  • EndNote is reference management software which allows students and staff to create their own database or 'library' of references.
  • These references can be then quickly and easily inserted into assignments and research papers to create in-text citations, reference lists and bibliographies.
  • All students and staff have access to EndNote 21 which is one of the most powerful reference management tools available.
  • This guide will give you an introduction to using EndNote 21 and if you need further assistance please see the Training and Support options below.
  • Some of the videos in this guide were created using EndNote 20 - these are still included as the functionality of the software has not changed for these examples in EndNote 21.
